Empanelment to act as ICAI Exam observers for Nov-2022
Here is the latest update on empanelment to act as ICAI exam observers.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced for empanelment of CA members to act as Observers for the upcoming November 2022 exams.
Interested CA members meeting the eligibility criteria may apply online. Last date to apply for empanelment to act as ICAI exam observers is 15th September 2022.
Schedule for ICAI Examinations Nov-2022
As we all know, ICAI conducts all its examinations twice a year. Schedule for the forthcoming CA exams for November-2022 as under:

Eligibility for Empanelment
Members who fulfill the following criteria are eligible for empanelment, to act as Observers.
- Should not be above 65 years of age as on the date of empanelment, i.e.25th August, 2022
- His or her name should be entered on the Register of Members as on 1st May 2020 and continues to be so;
- Neither he nor his relatives* or dependent* is going to appear in the Nov-2022 exams
*However, applying or appearance in ISA – AT will not be considered a disability for observership for CA Exams.
Honorarium for Observership
Honorarium of Rs. 3000/- Per day per session will be paid and
Rs.350/- as conveyance for ‘A’ class cities and Rs. 250/- for other cities per day will be reimbursed to cover the cost of local travel.
Besides above, reimbursement of postal expenses, if any, will also be paid.
How to empanel for ICAI exams Observer?
Any eligible CA members who is willing to empanel may do so online by visiting http://observers.icaiexam.icai.org
Empanelment window will open on 25th August and will close on 15th September 2022.
Details of allotment of assignment to the selected members will be hosted on 20th September 2022 tentatively.
Important Note regarding the allotment of duties of Observer:
A member will be allotted observer duties in the city of his professional address only as per Institute’s records.
